We are a long-established oil refinery established in 1930. We have been selling rice oil made from domestic raw materials for almost 90 years, and we still buy rice bran from rice farmers and provide our customers with high-quality rice oil. The healthy rice oil, rich in vitamin E which gives crispiness when used for deep fries, can also be enjoyed raw. Recently, it has been popular among confectionery manufacturers and bakers as a substitute for shortening, let alone among household as a cooking oil. Most of the raw materials for fats and oils supplied to Japan are dependent on foreign countries. “Rice oil” is an oil extracted from rice bran, which is removed from brown rice in the process of refining. Effective utilization of this byproduct has the potential to contribute to increasing domestic food self-sufficiency.
