Delicious and healthy gluten-free noodles from a konjac manufacturer founded in 1877. Available in three varieties: spinach, pumpkin, and carrot.
The noodles are star-shaped in cross-section, giving them a uniquely smooth texture and helping them hold sauces and broths beautifully. Pre-treated to remove bitterness, they're ready to eat after a quick rinse with water.
Each 200g pack contains just 28 kcal, yet delivers as much dietary fiber as two heads of lettuce (5g). Made without wheat, cholesterol, food additives, or artificial coloring, these noodles keep their naturally vibrant color. Perfect for pasta dishes, cold noodle salads, and more.
Exported internationally since 2002, with approximately 200,000 servings shipped abroad each year — especially popular in the United States and Europe. In 2009, the product was recognized by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as one of the ""300 Vibrant Monozukuri SMEs.

Product Description
A healthy, gluten-free alternative to traditional wheat noodles.
Rice Shirataki is an innovative noodle made with approximately 50% Japanese rice flour and 50% konjac, offering the satisfying texture and appearance of wheat noodles while being significantly lower in calories.
With only 20 kcal per 100 g, Rice Shirataki is an excellent choice for consumers seeking healthier lifestyles, weight management, or reduced-calorie meals. It is also ideal for those looking for gluten-free alternatives without compromising the eating experience.
Our rice flour is sourced from Fukuoka Prefecture, where our factory is located. By blending locally produced Japanese rice flour with konjac, we have created a noodle with a pleasantly chewy texture and clean bite, closely resembling traditional wheat noodles.
The noodles are naturally colored with pumpkin, giving them the familiar golden appearance of wheat noodles. Their color, thickness, and length are carefully designed to blend seamlessly into a wide variety of noodle dishes, making them an ideal substitute for conventional wheat noodles.
In addition, the characteristic odor often associated with konjac has been significantly reduced, allowing the noodles to pair well with a wide range of soups, sauces, and seasonings.
Rice Shirataki is pre-washed (no lye odor) and ready to use after a quick rinse under running water. No boiling or parboiling is required, making preparation simple and convenient for both home and foodservice applications.
Our production facility does not handle wheat, and laboratory testing has confirmed no detectable gluten in the finished product. This makes Rice Shirataki a reliable choice for the growing gluten-free market.
All ingredients are carefully selected and sourced in Japan. Combining premium local ingredients with our long-established expertise in konjac manufacturing, we have created a high-quality product that delivers excellent taste, texture, and convenience.
Rice Shirataki is an ideal solution for today's growing demand for low-calorie, gluten-free, and better-for-you foods, while providing the familiar eating experience of traditional wheat noodles.

Product Description
Handcrafted konjac rooted in the traditions of Ishibashiya, founded in 1877. Made using time-honored techniques passed down through skilled craftsmanship, this has been our best-selling signature product for over 20 years.
Taste it once, and you'll immediately notice the difference. What sets it apart is its irresistibly crisp, snappy texture — the result of ""Bata-neri,"" a kneading method named after the distinctive slapping sound it makes during preparation. Today, only a handful of makers in Japan still practice this technique.
We use more than double the amount of raw konjac material found in standard products. Through skilled hands and years of experience, air is worked into the dough as it's kneaded, achieving a texture that's both dense and satisfyingly crisp.
The kneading process leaves behind countless tiny air pockets throughout the konjac. These pockets allow flavors to soak in quickly, giving your favorite dishes an extra depth of taste.
Each piece is then hand-stretched and shaped — a manual process called ""te-nobe"" — giving it a unique, handmade character no machine can replicate.
Since the bitterness-removal process is completed during manufacturing, no extra preparation is needed. Simply rinse with water, and it's ready to use.
Taste the difference for yourself — it's no wonder this artisanal favorite keeps customers coming back again and again.
