We are working on the development of new products with the theme of “nature”, “safety” and “health”, and with a spirit of inquiry unrestrained by common sense.
Our company was founded in 1954 (Showa Era 29). We moved from our old factory when a fishery processing complex was built in Karatsu, and since then we have been processing fish such as sliced mackerel and whole dried sardines, and now our products include cut-open and dried horse mackerels and mackerels dried with mirin. The processing of cut-open and dried horse mackerels has become one of the representative industries of Karatsu, and has made the name of Karatsu known throughout the country, and we are making efforts to further enhance the brand image of Karatsu. Our main products are dried fish, but we also develop and sell other products such as Aji Goma Don No Moto (diced horse mackerel marinated in sesame soy sauce, ready to be used for donburi) and ASIAN Gyoza (dumplings with horse mackerel paste), taking advantage of our fish processing technology that we have developed over many years.
The ASIAN Gyoza was developed with overseas exports in mind, and was the first frozen food industry in Japan to receive Halal certification. In addition, the use of mainly Saga ingredients has been highly evaluated, and the product received the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award, the highest award in the 2011 “Excellent Furusato Food Central Competition”.
